Welcome to Bourbon & Blooms, my name is Jocelyn and this is my little corner of the world that I get to fill with all the things I love. You'll see I have a huge soft spot for anything cottage-core, floral or vintage. Hello dried flower wreaths, floral linen aprons, and vintage décor! I'm also passionate about the healing properties of the plants, wild and garden grown. I love learning all ways in which we can use plants in our daily lives and I always have something hanging to dry or infusing in my workshop. Here at Bourbon & Blooms you'll find all natural, infused beauty products with high quality ingredients that will surprise you with their ability to actually heal, soothe, and rejuvenate your skin! I infuse organic oils with potent organic herbs and combine them with clean, local tallow from right here in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. It doesn't get any fresher then that! I only use fat from small scale farmers raising cattle right here in the Cowichan Valley, no exceptions. I render my tallow several times using a method that results in a naturally pure white, odorless product that can be used on even the most sensitive skin. You will find it in my all natural tallow based soaps, as well as whipped to perfection with botanically infused organic oils in my tallow based skincare. 

While the internet is torn trying to decide if this new craze for tallow is hype or reality, and cosmetic specialists will tell you all about molecule sizes.. I'm here to say one thing, the results speak for themselves! I have personally witnessed countless number of people heal their eczema, rashes, rosacea, and dull or damaged skin using these gentle infused tallow products. Don't have problem skin? Neither did I, but I wanted something to use on my face that wasn't filled with chemicals. When I discovered tallow, everything changed.
